No Greater Love April
6, 2007
As Dee and I allow our hearts to be moved to look back in history to The
Cross of our Creator, Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, we find, thankfully
each and every time, that there is more of God’s Mercy to be experienced;
that there is more of God’s Forgiveness to be realized; that there
is more of God’s Grace, in which to be engaged; and that God made
all this possible through the Reconciling, Redeeming, Regenerating Work
of His Only Begotten Son. Why did The Lord God Almighty do this; one might
ask? His Motive Is that; He Loves us! There is No Greater Love! Knowing
that all of us have an inherent sinful nature; and knowing that the penalty
for sin is death, eternal separation from God, Who Is Holy and Just; how
do we know that The Lord Jesus Christ was successful in rescuing us from
the penalty of all our sinful human nature and of all the sins that we’ve
committed? He and only He Is The Perfect Sacrificial Lamb of God, Who
takes away the sin of the world; and we know that Jesus, Who Finished
the Perfect Work for our Salvation, by His sacrificial death on The Cross
on our behalf, was totally and completely successful in accomplishing
in what He set out to do when He Willingly Left Heaven to come to earth,
clothed in the likeness of human flesh, He humbled
Himself in Loving Obedience to Willingly Laying His Life down; taking
upon Himself the sin of the world; and dieing and experiencing hell, in
our place on The Cross; so that we might be made the Righteousness of
God in Christ Jesus; and the indisputable proof that we have that The
Lord Jesus Christ Was Successful; Is that He Was, Physically, Raised from
the dead; and thus Being Victorious over evil, sin and death. To God Alone
Be The Glory! Amen.
This Amazing Love of God
can only be Experienced in a person’s life by an individual decision
of Trust; in the universal God given evidence of creation; in the instinctive
God provided conscience in the human mind, which would prepare the fertile
soil of a longing, seeking, tender, inquiring and repenting heart that
would humbly, with brokenness, admit one’s need for The Resurrected,
Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ to Mercifully Save such a person with a
believing, confessing and receptive heart.
1 John 5:11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal
life, and this life is in his Son.
12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God
hath not life.
13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the
Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.
John 1:12) But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name:
Acts 2:21) And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall
be saved.
Acts 1:8) But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Revelation 3:20) Behold,
I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the
door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Happy Resurrection Sunday!
(Have a Blessed Easter!)
