Easter / Resurrection Sunday Greetings April 10, 2009

Happy Easter!!! What does that expression mean to you? In this day and age of relativism it can mean different things to different people. This, unfortunately, results in confusing conversations when this happy expression is exchanged.

Please permit me to share what this expression means to Dee & me.

If you were the recipient of the expression; “Happy Easter!” from us; this, in essence is what we mean:

- Blessed Resurrection Sunday!!!
- Jesus Christ, The Only Begotten Son of God; Who died once on the cross, for all the sin of mankind so that He might bring us to God, Is Risen from the dead!!!
- Jesus Christ Is The Resurrection and The Life!!!
- Jesus Christ has Saved Dee & me from all the consequences of our sin nature and sins committed that are birthed from such a fallen nature, which we, along with the rest of humanity, have genetically and spiritually inherited from Adam and Eve;our salvation resulted from not because of what anything that we have done, but because of What Jesus Christ has Done!

: The Word of God, Jesus Christ, taught us that we are sinners who sin.
: The Word of God declares that whoever brakes one of God’s Laws is guilty of breaking them all. This is sin!
: The Word of God passes Judgment that the penalty for sin is death.
: The Word of God, Who Became Flesh, was made sin that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Christ! The Lord Jesus Died in our place on The Cross!!!
: The Word of God Teaches us that if we Admit that we have a sin nature, which results in each of us committing sins; and Believe that The Only Begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, Died in our
place, once on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sin; and confess that God Has Raised Him from the dead; and Receive Him into our hearts, by Faith, as we call upon The Name of The Lord, God Will Baptize each Believer by The Holy Spirit once into The Body of Christ; which results in Eternal Salvation; being Born Again or Born from Above; becoming God’s Adopted Children, In Christ Jesus. With His Love and Victorious Resurrection Power At Work within each of us, The Abundant Life Of God will be experienced.

: The Word of God reminds us that The Resurrected, Ascended, Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ Is Returning for His Church; and that day is drawing near.
