“The Footsteps of the LORD!”

This is the Day that the LORD has made we will rejoice and be Glad in it…Psalm 118:21. Although that verse in the Psalm was written centuries ago it still applies to the Year 2008. The God of all Creation is still involved in the events and lives of the people of the earth. However there was a Secret given to the Men and Women of Faith over the Centuries. “The Secret of the LORD is with them that Fear Him. Psalm 25:14. Men and Women were given the Gift of Faith so that they could walk in the Footsteps of God. Yes, every Man, Woman and Child of Faith have been called to follow and walk in the Footsteps of God. We are called as Saints to redeem the time”Ephesians 5:16We who are Born-Again Sons and Daughters of the Most High God hear His Still Small voice of the Holy Spirit in our lives as we walk in Faith and receive God’s Truth and Council from His Holy Written Word into our hearts .Yes, our Great Shepherd has gone before us and is leading the Way in this Christian Journey. He sees what is around the next bend on the road that we are traveling and sees all the hill,valleys and mountains that we will encounter and see the dangers of the storms and the pits along the way. He Faithfully Guides us daily and in times of sorrow and fear He hides us under the Shadow of His Wings.”Be merciful unto me,O God be merciful unto me for my soul Trusteth in Thee in the Shadow of the Wings will I make my refuge until the clamities be over past. Psalm 57:1.Yes ,we can trust our Heavenly Father that He will guide us in the Power of His Love and Strengthen us and Encourage our hearts daily. The LORD promises to Walk before us and with us as we walk by Faith in this Lifetime.There will be days full of Joy and Peace and His Blessings,and there will be days of trials and storms when we do not know what is ahead of us. In all those days He will be there to guide us in His Footsteps. For His Holy Feet have walked upon the earth and He is the Perfect Example for us to follow as we look back at His Life and His Loving Servants Heart. Jesus calls us each

One of us to walk in His Footsteps that He has ordained for our life and we will experience the Blessings of Walking in the Spirit. Yes, with a New Year ahead of us our Lord will guide our days as we walk in His Footsteps.We will witness Him leading us to a place of Devotion and Worship and Praise on His Holy Mountain where we will seek our Father’s Holy Face,His Footsteps will led us to go before the Cross when we sin and will lead us to times of devotion as we sit at His Feet and read His Word.His Footsteps will lead us into deeper Fellowship with Him and with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. As we walk in His Love serving on another ,His Footsteps will lead us to our Family and Friends and Neighbours. And Yes, His Footsteps will keep us in the pathway of Faith to use our Time, Talents,Treasure for His Glory and for our Eternal Good.”The Steps of a “good “man are ordered by the LORD”Psalm 37:23. As we follow our Lord’s Steps each new day in the Year 2008 we will witness the Faithful Loving Providing Hand of our Lord and He will guide us in all of our Days. And one day the Footsteps of the LORD will lead us to our Heavenly Home. The Footsteps of the Lord have been preordained for us,His Adopted Children and for each Footstep there is a Promise of experiencing His Love,Mercy, Grace,Peace, and Joy and many Blessings. So let the Year 2008 be the Year where we walk by Faith in the Footsteps of our LORD!
